Who are the jewelry makers of your jewelry?
We are. Every single piece of jewelry is handmade in our Smedja in Malmö.
 
Who are you?
We are Junta.

Where is Junta located?
Junta is a multi-disciplinary concept which (soon) will include more than ”just” Smedjan. Junta Smedja, on the other hand, is located at Smedjegatan 22 (Sic.) in Malmö. And everything we do, from jewelry, courses to packaging, will be done by ourselves in Malmö.

What do you actually offer?
Right now (more coming soon, stay tuned!) we primarily offer courses in jewelry making and casting as well as handmade jewelry. Secondly, we offer everything from tailored workshops to custom orders and casting services.

What materials do you work with/provide?
We work in most metals, except for gold (except for wedding rings), as we currently do not have the capacity or interest to specialize in gold on a wider scale. 

Are you sustainable?
Well, consumption of any kind is not exactly sustainable. But we only use recycled materials, manufacture everything ourselves and work on a small scale with high quality, as we believe that is the ONLY way. So YES we are as sustainable as it fkn gets! Or?!?

If I have an allergic reaction to one of your jewelry?
Call 1177 and seek medical attention, or scratch like a mosquito bite and go to bed.

Is your jewelry vegan??
Yes, but they are consumed at your own risk.

Can I pay by invoice?
Yes, we offer Klarna to Swedish residents. 

Do you deliver to all countries?
We ship to most countries. To see if we ship to your country, follow the steps to complete an order; if you don't find your country in the list of countries, we unfortunately don't ship to your country.
 
Is my credit card information safe when I use your website??
Yes, see our privacy policy for more information. 

I'm an exile from Malmö, who pays the customs??
All taxes, customs duties, etc. are paid by the buyer according to the respective country's customs regulations. 
 
If I have a question about gdpr or a legal question, can you answer it??
We are NOT lawyers (except one of us;)), so please write your question via mail or instagram.

How should I dress??
As usual, depending on the weather. We recommend that you dress in natural materials as these do not melt when in contact with hot metal (which will most likely not happen). There are aprons to borrow and special, space-age protective suits at the casting courses.

Am I insured when I take a course with you??
Nope, but we assure you that you will be taken care of with the utmost care. However, it may be a good idea to review your home insurance to ensure you have the protection you need.

I have become sick :(?
Write to us via mail eller instagram and we will find another course date, so you don't miss out on all the fun.  

I am pregnant, can I take a course with you?
First of all, congrats. And yes, EVERYONE is welcome at Junta. However, as some of the course elements are not compatible with pregnancy (think of the little macaroni), we may need to adapt the course slightly for you, so please contact us via instagram or mail after booking the course!

I have been prevented from taking the course or I have changed my mind, what do I do?
You will regret your decision, but if you are unable to attend the course date, please see our avbokningspolicy. If the cancellation policy is not applicable, please write to us via instagram or mail and we will find a solution that fits your needs. We are not difficult by nature and want all parties to be satisfied.

Who teaches the courses?
Our eminent Amanda Edstrand, with education from both Konstfack Stockholm and Alchimia Florens, will guide you through the courses with a steady hand.

I want to take a course with you, but I'm afraid I'm too inexperienced or not creative enough.?
Don’t worry. Everyone can sing, at least with us :S. No prior knowledge is required, and we will awaken the creative devil in you and once you open that door, you will be as addicted as we are; that’s a promise!

What size do I have??
See our size guide. Otherwise, contact ur via instagram or mail sand we will guide you to you size. If you live near Malmö and have the opportunity to come by Junta Smedja, we can custom size the jewelry for you.

We're getting married, can you marry us?
No, even though we know Malmö's best priest, but you or we can make the wedding rings either with our guidance or let us have free hands. Do something fun and don't go with the flow; only dead fish do that. Contact us for more information via instagram or mail.
