- Theoretical introduction to silversmithing.
- Practical review of the techniques required to process silver; shaping, sawing, soldering, polishing, etc.
- Sketching and design.
- Creation of your silverware.
- For 3 hours you will immerse yourself in the enchanting world of silversmithing and learn all the basics of creating jewelry or objects in silver.
- We will focus on creating a pendant from a silver plate that we have on hand, there is also the possibility of creating a simple silver ring.
- We provide all the tools, machinery, protective equipment, etc. that you need, so dress for the weather and we'll get going!
- Course leader: Amanda Edstrand with education from Konstfack Sthlm and Alchimia Florens.
- No prior knowledge is required.
- The course includes all materials including silver for a piece of jewelry.
- There will be an opportunity to purchase silver, chains, stones and pearls on site, so you can create your dream piece of jewelry.
- We only have 6 places per course to ensure that all course participants get the space they need in the form of supervision and personal development.
- If there are fewer than 3 course participants, the course will be cancelled.
